Once again interesting boxes of equipment and plants appeared in the Village Hall for the 3rd Sustainability Day on Saturday 12 October.
It is always difficult to tell what is the most popular activity, apart from consuming homemade cakes and tea and coffee with friends. As ever the repair café attracted many interesting problems to solve, or not in some cases. The bike repair corner saw plenty of customers, and next door to that children were busy making hedgehogs out of teasels and finding out how to help hedgehogs not just survive but prosper in the valley. And of course, the huge number of plants ebbed and flowed throughout the afternoon, with people bringing some to swop or else to just buy.
Information was available on the Unity Bus Service, getting a free home energy survey and/or survey of gardens for wildlife.
